       One big and very important issue is about the air pollution what being polluted by the industrial massive waste. One way the industries are helping with produce fertilizer for make the land more fertile to grow enough food. They are producing all kind of meat product that fast food company using for their business. Also, the farm products are being use in many places in many ways to fulfill necessity. On other hand, industrialize producing system herm more the environments than help. The burning gasses killing green land which produces oxygen gas for inhalation which is very important for human life. Also, the releasing greenhouse gases causing global warming that affects the whole world.

   As a human and part of the world’s life, we need to save the world. We can do a lot for our neighborhood. We can change our food with vegetable instead of meat that will make us healthy and save us from high cholesterol, overweight, and other diseases. It will help us to long live also it is our duty to make a pollution free world for our next generation.

          The brand i am using again and again since 1991, it is "Sony". In 1991 when i came in the United States, i was working long hours. For relaxing i bought a tape recorder which i use to here my cultural song, it was Sony brand what is the first enjoyable instrument in my house. I bought it from the store name Wize where my one relatives did work and he advises us to buy the brand. it was my first step to get in Sony world. Actually that time i did not think about the brand or other side of the brand. After that i bought a Sony TV from Manhattan. It was crystal clear picture, never bother me with any trouble. My second Sony steel i have in my home with full energy. It is long Period i am living in USA, time changing, brand changing but i am stack on Sony. You can say that i fall in love with Sony because whenever i go to store to buy any thing, i try to chose other brand also the sales person push me to buy other brand but why i don't know at last a chose a Sony brand. At my home, almost every kind of electronics are Sony like: TV, DVD, tape recorder, even my blender.
     When i bought all of that materials i was alone. But now i am trying to change my taste because now i have a new generation. My kids are with me now. They want to chose their favorite and colorful brand. I don't want to hart them because now is their time to enjoy so what ever they like, my husband buy that. i move my taste to the house ware things but i don't buy one brand, i chose verity brand for cloths, shoes, and house ware materials. I feel sympathy for all the business person. I know i am not only the person who is the only customer but when i go to store at first i thought about where i am now. I need to move on and one thing i think that it is not for whole life , let me try.

        In the book “Fast Food Nation” Eric Schlosser take a close look to the fast food industrial’s desire and real motive back of the business. The founder’s intention work to attract an innocent group of people to become success in their industrial world. Those selfish groups used some tactics for poisoning kid’s life through the fast food nation which developed an unhealthy environment around the whole world. Their crucial consumer scheme approaches to target the food nation with a powerful image that gave them only huge profit.

        With this view Carl generated a business to established his success that Involved teenagers as a big part of customer and worker during the car culture. He was working to grow his business faster so he hired young worker to give speedy services. Once he was tired to fulfill his teenager customer’s desire he changes his strategy. He opened a business where teenager will work to catch teen women customer who will bring their boyfriends. Also these two McDonalds brother give cheap prices food including verity kind of toy’s that attract kids and parents can effort so they can become success their business. Their strategy inspire other people to inter the franchise world so those people come with new kind of fast food name  Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, KFC, and many other. These industrials  

        When Kroc Ray and Walt Disney inter in these franchise world they use their legendary talk that your trusted friend, actually it is an atom bomb. For their success they target mainly kid’s innocent mind. Their psychological mind were working as brainwashing tactics to fuel kid’s psychology and impress them with advertising and toys. They know that if kids cry parents should come to make them happy that will bring two more customers for their business. The industrial explosion had driven the kids “cradle to grave”. For example, my one nephew always drinks soda whenever he gets money. He is 11 years old and living with his mother. His mother works outside, so he has enough change to eat fast food but now he has diabetics in this early age. It is the effect of our fast food nation even it does not escape 2 to 3 years old kids. They win in their motive to spread their business interstate to go on top but don’t think our future nation.

          In third story behind the counter Eric Schlosser open a mysterious chapter of fast food founders. Here also we can see their greediness found a new deal after California and Los Angeles they attract Colorado also there teenagers. Teenagers cannot take a right decision and in this age everything looks colorful to their eyes. They need money to fulfil their wishes so, in this situation if they got a job they think it is a big thing for them. Like my daughter, she worked in a tutorial center and she earns some money but she could not save any single dollars. She spent all money for her lunch. This is the teen mind and the business founder uses that psychology for their profit.  At a time, when they knows that their being cheated they commit crime, but the business pioneers fire them when they try to joint with union. Sometimes teenagers drop school and lie to their family what can ruin their life. Teenagers mind also innocent like kids, whatever they see they feel attraction to that thing.

       In conclusion, Eric Schlosser showing the experience of marketing founders that it is a two edges sword what we cannot see with our open eyes. We think it is easy to buy ready food for our kids they are happy, also we are happy but the food making our kids over weight that cause diabetic in early age same as our teenagers being part of crime victim. The fast food nation industrials have vicious plan to become success. They don’t think our kids obesity or health, or teen groups.

         In second chapter named “Your Trusted Friends” of the book “Fast Food Nation” Author Eric Schlossers show us the real picture behind the sale motives of all franchises fast food and beverages companies. He briefly explain about two founder of MacDonald’s Ray Kroc and Walt Disney how they were similar and competitor in business field and real life. They were like magician about convince customer. Both of them had dropped school but they had excellent knowledge about technology. Even they were great politician that they use in Nixon time to raise the prices. In 1980’s these growing companies new target were kid’s customer. These two company have adapted vicious marketing scheme. One marketing expert called era of 1980’s the decade of the child customers. These companies researched on the child psychology and took advantage of their innocent mind. They invested millions of money for advertisements that attract all customer specially kids that make them to go far with huge profit and take the next steps. They make business deal with school not caring about young health. Children are targeted from early ages of 2 and 3. These companies guarantee to be “Your Trusted Friends” aims at profiting from “Cradle to Grave” these chapter show us the dark side behind the motive of the multinational fast food companies.

         In Chapter one “The Founding Fathers” of book “Fast Food Nation” the author Eric schlosser explain about how the automobile industry change to Fast Food industry. Carl N. Karcher a young school drop boy drive his way to becoming a fast food industries first pioneer. As a young boy Carl was helping his father then he got a job in Anaheim, California in his uncle’s farm. Later he took a job in a bakery in Los Angeles and thought to open his own small business. He bought a hot dog cart and there he worked with a part time job truck as a driver. In a few days he bought another one and then a restaurant. When he saw that business running good he quits job. He was working hard in his restaurant with his wife. In ‘for the young customer. Once he was tired to serve all of the stuff for his business and decided to close. Later he start with a new Logo in bright light that attract many young customer to come his restaurant that makes problems to other business owners. They decided to come with new plan like work ethics, mean one person does one job. This new plan attract many other business owner to change their work strategy. It inspires many other people to open franchises like Dunkin Donuts, KFC, Domino’s and Carl Karcher’s  Jr. People see that eating fast food is cheaper and easy to eat. This way Fast food became part of Americans life.

       

           Food is very important for me and for my family to go through the life. It is natural that people should eat food to get energy. Without food people can’t leave. It is as usual for me too. Me and my kids, we eat food three to four times a day. We eat breakfast that I make every morning. Whole week I don’t use same food for breakfast. I change the menu every day. Though my cultural food is rice but we eat bread at morning. I made bread with wheat flour called “Atta” that I eat every morning with vegetables. For my kids I make eggs sandwiches, bread with butter, with jelly, with jelly cream cheese, with peanut butter and jelly, soup, and sometimes I cook pasta that my kids favorite food . For lunch and dinner I cook my cultural food like: rice, fish, vegetables, and meat. I eat my food with my family and sometimes alone because of schedules differences. About shopping, I do it because my husband does not understand what he should buy and what my kids like. There are many especial occasion when I cook my cultural food. Except that, my kids like to eat my cultural rich food what I have to cook most of the time. I don’t eat out side food and my kids eat barely. I did not work as a cook, waiter, or meat packer. 

Essay :- “Is America’s Food Supply Safe?”

     Because of getting energy and staying in good health we take food. So we have to know that what we are eating every time. According to the article “Is America’s Food Supply Safe?” by Dr. David Acheson, Assistant Commissioner for Food Protection Food and Drug Administration, we know that America’s Food and Drug Administration working hardly with all agencies to make more safer food. They are using modern scientific method to protect food contamination and educates consumer to be sure that they should process the food appropriate way. A large group of investigators inspecting all over the country to make sure that supplying food are safe. Even they are working in boarder to stop inter unsafe food from other countries. The F.D.A. working hard to give good services about food safety. So can be sure that what we are eating it is safe and secure for our health.

         America’s food protection departments are concern about to supply safe food. They say that they want to catch problem early that they can fix it. As Dr. David Acheson mention in the article “Is America’s Food Supply Safe?” that “We have 625 investigators working out of 20 different offices all across the country who are dedicated to inspecting our food supply and working with food companies to make sure they do everything they can to keep food safe.” That means a large group of people working in different places to make sure that all food that are coming from different companies they preparing proper way and it is safe to eating. I am agree with them that they are working hard to supply safe food. For example, a period of time in the year 1991 to 1999 I have worked in a first food company name Dunkin Donuts. I saw that every month the city inspection group come to inspect the store. They check every corner of the store, all machinery materials, using bowls, using other materials, all products like: oil, flour, sugar, etc. and expiration dates. If any time they got anything wrong they give violation a big amount of money. Sometimes they locked some store because of dirtiness and servicing unsafe food. So I believe that the F. D. A. working hard to check that America’s food are not bacterial and viral contamination and prepared proper way.

          In addition, F.D.A. working on boarder to protect the unsafe food what enter from other country because they suspect that other countries food may not prepared proper way. In this article, Dr. David Acheson say, “The F.D.A. has inspectors at our boarders to prevent unsafe food from entering our country.” That means the F.D.A. people working on boarder to stop entering unsafe food. America imports and exports food from other country. They set inspectors other country who can make sure that food are safe. They are always alert about their food safety.  For example, if you go to airport you can see people who are coming from foreign country, they bring food from their country but F.D.A. inspecting their luggage and throwing all food in garbage. Sometime they fine them too for that food. One of my friends got three hundred dollars fine in the year 2011 because she brought some meat and fruits. From this activities we can be sure that America’s food department are concern about food safety.

       In conclusion, Dr. David Acheson, Assistant Commissioner for Food Protection Food and Drug Administration says that America’s supplying food are safe to eat. Also according to the article, “Is America’s Food Supply Safe?” we know that F.D.A. inspecting all over the food supplying companies to make sure that they are preparing  and cooking food appropriate way. They working on boarder to make sure the food which coming from other country are safe to eat and preventing enter unsafe food. So F.D.A. working together to keep America’s people healthy and making sure that America’s food is safe to eat.
