    Blog # 3
         In Chapter one “The Founding Fathers” of book “Fast Food Nation” the author Eric schlosser explain about how the automobile industry change to Fast Food industry. Carl N. Karcher a young school drop boy drive his way to becoming a fast food industries first pioneer. As a young boy Carl was helping his father then he got a job in Anaheim, California in his uncle’s farm. Later he took a job in a bakery in Los Angeles and thought to open his own small business. He bought a hot dog cart and there he worked with a part time job truck as a driver. In a few days he bought another one and then a restaurant. When he saw that business running good he quits job. He was working hard in his restaurant with his wife. In ‘for the young customer. Once he was tired to serve all of the stuff for his business and decided to close. Later he start with a new Logo in bright light that attract many young customer to come his restaurant that makes problems to other business owners. They decided to come with new plan like work ethics, mean one person does one job. This new plan attract many other business owner to change their work strategy. It inspires many other people to open franchises like Dunkin Donuts, KFC, Domino’s and Carl Karcher’s  Jr. People see that eating fast food is cheaper and easy to eat. This way Fast food became part of Americans life.

  1. hey good start, you seem to have understood the chapter, you can also talk about interstate roads and war's that contributed to the rise of the fast food chain.
